What Is A Managed Services Platform?

A managed service provider (MSP) platform is a computer framework designed to deliver network-based services, devices, and applications to residences, enterprises, or other service providers. A business communication platform built to create genuine human connections by helping large companies hold conversations, not presentations. The Avi Vantage platform is specifically designed for the mobile and multi-cloud era using a unique analytics-based approach and 100% software. Avi Vantage is the first platform to leverage the power of software-defined principles for unprecedented agility, insight, and efficiency in application delivery.

Managed service providers can use the Avi Vantage platform to deliver, protect, and manage their applications on behalf of customers. Managed Service Provider (MSP) and an IT professional (or IT organization) offer managed IT services for a variety of SMEs. There are several strains of managed services offered by technology providers to enable organizations to easily manage their infrastructure. A managed service provider (MSP) delivers services such as networks, applications, infrastructure, and security, through ongoing regular support and active management at customers’ premises; in their MSP’s data center (hosting), or in a third-party data center.

Cost factors for an enterprise service depend on the organization’s requirements for availability and criticality of a particular service. Most recently, I provided a managed service to a large energy company that found the service to be continuous and significantly improved the satisfaction of end-users and IT support staff, globally. Managed service providers offer deep strategies with ongoing support to ensure the prevention of business commitments for organizations. For the past few years, Tarun has focused on the IT service management suite and application managed services.

However, managed services do not necessarily make the enterprise IT professional obsolete. For the end user, an IT professional can act as an endpoint liaison that manages the relationship, provides feedback, and analyzes reports provided by the MSP. From my experience working with small and large client companies, I often suggest how a managed service can help address these challenges. They started with IT infrastructure management, then became application service providers (ASP), but now services include mobile device management, cloud storage, remote monitoring and management, and security as a service. Managed service providers facilitate the effective resolution of challenges over time, which in turn enables smooth operations.

However, given the maturity of managed services models and the shift to virtualization and cloud, the need for on-premises IT staff may be limited to exceptions in that operational sensitivity justifies the need. Everything from project management and help desk services to reporting and billing all happens in one place, helping MSPs save time and do more for all their customers. Organizations are allowed to focus on their core business goals while leaving management of their infrastructure and networks in the hands of the managed service provider. Organizations must ensure that they get the best fit of services and solutions for their infrastructure to ensure seamless integration of technology capabilities. .
